Fees.
Attorney fees are based either on the German lawyers’ remuneration act (RVG) or on a fee agreement. In court proceedings the statutory fees may not be undercut; a higher fee can be agreed at any time.

Fee agreement
We are not cheap, but good. In complex or particularly extensive matters we bill by time spent; the hourly rate is generally between €280 and €320 net per hour (a separate agreement is required).
Payment is possible by bank transfer, credit or debit card, in cash or via PayPal. For larger PayPal payments, the applicable fee is added to the invoice amount.
Statutory fees (RVG)
In civil, administrative and partly social-law matters, fees are based on the amount in dispute: the more significant the matter, the higher the fees. Out of court, the criteria of § 14 RVG apply; in litigation, procedural, hearing and, where applicable, settlement fees arise. A specialist attorney costs no more than a non-specialist.
Good to know: after a non-fault traffic accident, the other party or their liability insurer usually bears the legal fees.
